Polished concrete is dense but not invincible. A stain guard fills the last pores and repels oil and water so spills wipe up instead of soaking in.
We apply guards after the final polishing step and burnish them in. Different guards suit different needs, and we choose one that keeps the floor breathable and the sheen natural.
Guards and sealers
Penetrating guards soak in and protect from within. Film-forming sealers add a surface layer that can add gloss but can also wear. We pick based on traffic and the look you want.
Keeping the guard working
Guards last longer with a neutral cleaner and regular dust mopping. They can be refreshed on a schedule.
