Every slab cracks. Concrete shrinks as it cures, and Florida soils and temperatures move slabs around. Before polishing, we look at every crack and joint and decide what each needs.
Hairline cracks are often left as character. Wider cracks and joints are filled with a semi-rigid epoxy or polyurea, flush with the surface, which supports the edges and keeps wheels and heels from chipping them.
Different cracks, different fixes
Static cracks that no longer move can be filled and polished over. Moving cracks and control joints need a flexible or semi-rigid filler that tolerates movement. Structural cracks need an engineer.
Setting expectations
A repaired crack is stable and clean, but it can still be visible as a line. We show you test repairs and explain which lines will stay.
