Patios, lanais and pool decks bake in the sun, get soaked by storms and hold chlorine and algae. Grinding removes weathered, stained surface and sealing protects what is left.
We finish outdoor slabs with sealers and textures chosen for safe footing. A fully glossy polish is not recommended outdoors, because wet glossy concrete is slippery.
Outdoor-safe finishes
We use sealers and light textures that keep traction when wet. Light colors reflect heat and stay cooler underfoot than dark ones.
Pool areas
Chemical splash and constant wetting need compatible sealers. We protect pool equipment and plantings and plan work around pool use.

Good questions about patio & pool deck finishing.
Is polished concrete safe by a pool?
Glossy polished surfaces are slippery when wet. We use traction-friendly finishes outdoors.
Will it stay cooler?
Light colors help. Surface color affects heat.
How often to reseal?
Often every few years, depending on sun and traffic.
